More than 55 distinguished scientists, researchers and academicians participated for sharing research advance, knowledge and expertise related to Obesity worldwide. The two days conference, held on March 18th through March 19th provides the leading academic scientists, researchers and scholars to share their experiences and research results about all aspects of Childhood Obesity and Nutrition.
12th International Conference on Childhood Obesity and Nutrition, 2019 was inaugurated by the keynote session by Dr. Erkan Yilmaz, Ankara University, Turkey with the title “The role of glutamine transport and metabolism in the insulin resistance and endoplasmic reticulum stress”. The session was chaired by Nilly Shams, Alexandria University School of Medicine, Egypt and Co-chaired by Cigdem Bozkir, Namik Kemal University, Turkey.
The conference’s first day featured panels on childhood obesity and nutrition, effects of obesity disease, new directions in obesity treatment, type 2 diabetes, overweight and obese women and food addiction.
The second day began with an insightful poster session on the area of childhood obesity, depression and child health problems and modification of inflammation with probiotic intake in obese children. The conference concluded with the poster session.
