Alzheimer’s disease:

The brain is affected by the condition of Alzheimer's disease. At first, the symptoms are moderate; still, they get worse as time goes by. It is named after Dr. Alois Alzheimer, as he originally identified the disease in 1906. Alzheimer's disease often includes memory loss, linguistic difficulties and impulsive or unpredictable behavior. Another feature is the loss of connections between nerve cells, or neurons, in the brain. These characteristics mean that information cannot move easily between different areas of the brain, or between the brain and muscles or organs. As symptoms worsen, it becomes difficult for people to remember recent events, reason, and recognize people they know. Eventually, a person with Alzheimer's disease may need full-time help.

Dementia: A group of symptoms that significantly impede memory, thinking, and communication abilities is called dementia. Although there is no one particular disease that causes dementia, many diseases can be. Although memory loss is a common symptom of dementia, it can have many different causes. Memory loss alone does not indicate dementia, despite the fact that it is often one of the first signs of the disease. Although there are many additional causes of dementia, Alzheimer's disease occurs most often in older individuals.

Parkinson’s disease:  Parkinson's is a progressive disease that affects the nervous system and parts of the body controlled by nerves. Symptoms start gradually. The first symptom may be a noticeable tremor in only one hand. Tremors are common, but this disorder can also cause stiffness or slow movement. In the early stages of Parkinson's disease, your face may not show any expression. Your arms cannot swing when you walk. Your speech may be soft or slurred. As your condition progresses over time, the symptoms of Parkinson's disease tend to worsen. Although Parkinson's disease cannot be cured, medications can greatly improve your symptoms. Sometimes, your health care provider may suggest surgery to regulate certain areas of your brain and improve your symptoms.
