Biography
Dr. Yu obtained her PhD degree in statistics in 2006 and have been working as an assistant and then associate professor in the Biostatistics program of the School of Public Health at the Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center (LSUHSC) ever since. Dr. Yu has been a PI for two NAACCR research awards, and co-investigator for the Louisiana Tumor Registry, NIH-funded Health Aging project, and Neighborhood Environment and Alcohol Health Disparities Studies project, as well as the LSU Principal Investigator for the Evaluation of Louisiana’s Fish Mercury Monitoring Program.
