9th International Conference on Neurological Disorders & Stroke, 2019 was inaugurated followed by the key note session by Anne-Frédérique Naviaux, Summerhill Mental Health Centre, Ireland with the title “Management of ARFID (Avoidant Restrictive Food Intake Disorder) in a 12-year-old on a paediatric ward in a general hospital: Use of Mirtazapine, partial hospitalization model and family based therapy” ; Donna Eaton, Mater Misericordiae University Hospital, Ireland with the title “Reducing stroke risk in patients with atrial fibrillation, minimally invasive clipping of the left atrial appendage: A case series report” and Saeed Takish Saeed, Hazm Mebaireek General Hospital, Qatar, with the title “Stroke in young age, causes and management” The session was Chair by Saeed Takish Saeed, Hazm Mebaireek General Hospital, Qatar.

Stroke Congress 2020 has been planning and aiming to stimulate new techniques for treatment of neurological disorders and stroke that would be beneficial for the neurosurgery.

A stroke, can be called as a brain stroke, occurs when something blocks blood supply to part of the brain or when a blood vessel in the brain bursts. A stroke may come into effect by a blocked artery (ischemic stroke) or the leaking or bursting of a blood vessel (hemorrhagic stroke). People may have a temporary disruption of blood flow to their brain called transient ischemic attack.
