Biography
Androniki Naska is a graduate of the School of Sciences of the University of Athens (BSc in Chemistry); the School of Health and Life Sciences, King’s College, University of London (MSc in Human Nutrition); and the University of Athens Medical School (PhD in Nutritional Epidemiology, with distinction). Currently, A. Naska is Associate Professor of Hygiene and Epidemiology at the University of Athens Medical School. A. Naska has been core investigator in eleven and senior member of the coordinating team in thirteen EU-supported research projects on nutrition monitoring; eating out; the development and testing of dietary assessment methods; the collection and analysis of dietary and related data. A. Naska is also involved in the analysis of data collected through the EPIC study (prospective cohort study). A. Naska has published 122 original research papers and reviews, and 6 chapters in nutrition-related books (2,692 citations and h-index = 29).
